Wow 2b2, excellent, excellent work. For sure the best combo of colors, it looks very rich and hopefully Lincoln will offer a color combo like this for the MKS eventually. Wood looks great, and the leather is not too bright/orange. This looks like the best combination for the MKS so far!

tho I'd like the extra choice at intro, wonder if Ford might add sumthin not that long after 1st release (before EcoBoosting)... ...if I'm right about their major Kaizen*Kick cough*+DI*cough

btw changed the Nat-Camel pic a bit - now that I could see it with fresh eyes
shrunk it to match the 2nd's width, toned down the color-intensity a touch, and played with brightness/contrast

that is PERFECT - I wish Ford had thought of that - all the new BMW3 coupes I see have the orange/red leather in them .. this would be amazing.

see, I can't quite believe they haven't thought of it... thus my Kaizen comment

actually, these colors are a spin-off, not exactly copying, of one of my Mercury ideas &
I feel it's "all of a piece" = figuring out how BOTH Lincoln AND Mercury need to offer different degrees and themes/directions of "beyond ordinary" would lead to success for BOTH!
and
I have trouble believing that Fomoco can succeed with Lincoln
without having the Vision required to ALLOW Mercury to succeed
(but I'd better stop there & go back to working on my next Mission:Mercury! entry)
Lincoln-threads are the one brand I don't want to hijack
-cuz it's very exciting what's happening there
&
- because M & L are sooo distinct in my mind... just hope/wish Fomoco has/had the same mindset :unsure:

Not trying to change the subject, but I wonder if Ford will release any "newer" technologys for the 2009 MKS. Since, afterall, it's the size of the S-Class, 7-Series, and LS LWB, and they all have interesting technologys for the their class. When does the MKS even start shipping out!? I also want to know how many orders they've gotten, that'd be purtty interesting to find out. I really do hope it sells in the 60K+ numbers like Ford hopes.
